Creating possibility, releasing potential
Coaching, Supervision, Leadership Development
“We all want quiet. We all want beauty. We all need space. Unless we have it, we cannot reach that sense of quiet in which whispers of better things come to us gently.”
Octavia Hill, 1883.
Those words may have been spoken by one of the co-founders of the National Trust in the UK, but they are as true of mental and emotional space as they are of being out in the fresh air; we all need space. Space to reflect, to take stock, to gather ourselves for the next challenge, to examine what is true for us and to allow those “whispers of better things” to emerge in the quiet. In an increasingly volatile and challenging world, where leaders are called to step up in ways they may not have expected only a short time ago, space to reflect may be essential.
My work is simply to create a space of quiet, calm focus, both one-to-one and in groups, through teaching and embodying the finest quality of generative listening; and through this to enable graceful solutions – and often significant breakthroughs – to emerge.
I offer one-to-one coaching sessions, supervision of coaches, facilitation of meetings, and training for leaders and their teams to replicate the conditions for fresh, independent thinking, both in person, when possible, and online.
